Hi all
I am new to this forum but over the past couple of weeks i have been checking and reading through all of the posts daliy in order to keep myself a bit up to date on whats going on with the issue there seems to be lately with horse thefts.
I was wondering, could anyone give me any information on if anything has happened in staffordshire? i know in the area where i am there has been reported slightings of the REG plates that are stated on this site N253.... and many other sites
and also a man stopping by at stables/yards around the area asking if anyone has any old horse shoes he can send for scrap, but while he is there he is looking over your shoulder and very noticeably checking the place out and asking about the horses he can see.
we have also had a man riding round our yard on a push bike which at first we thought nothing of but with the scare of horse thefts we then realised this is slightly worrying.
i understand that there is a lot of hearsay and some rummors out there but i feel the general jist of things is that there is a risk at the moment and i myself would prefer to know everything there is no know whether it be rummors or true and get myself prepared and keep my horses safe rather than know nothing at all and then on the chance that something did happen to any of my horses -end up wishing i had took more notice!
your help and thougths/comments and information will be gratefully received! i have spoken to the local police but they will not realise any information.
