Had new friends over tonight for the first time. One had a husband who had a staff ages ago and the other is not afraid of staffs. Introduced them to lexi my staff, who immediately licked all feet. Dirty. She was a little unsure so was sitting beside me for about 3 mins lol then went to the one whos hubby had staff. Had lots of fun getting cuddles and smooches from non afraid humans! Was really refreshing not having to explain how they are "misunderstood" and that the growling noises were not aggressive but loving lol

Aw bless her. I've never actually known an aggressive staffie, which includes one rescued from a dog fighting consortium in Croydon! Only thing I have against them (well, not really) is their strength. You don't want one bumping into you at full pelt, but I bet you know that, lol!

AWWW! Gorgeous face! :D I love staffies, my friend has one who is the biggest soppy in the world and would turn himself inside out with excitement if there is the prospect of a cuddle ha ha!
My sister totally freaks out if she sees a staffy or rottie out and about because she has it in her head that they will all be agressive so have explained a few times that actually most are lovely and it's all down to the people who own them how they turn out :(

Staffies are wonderful, I had no idea just how great they are until we rehomed a Staffie from the SSPCA, he had been a stray in Glasgow and then in kennels for 18 months yet he is really affectionate with everyone and great fun to be around, such a shame that they have had such bad press, they don`t deserve it.
