I have my stage 4 in a month :(
I am doing it at Glenegales, what is it like for stage exams?
I am only doing the care as I current riding style is like a bag of ****.
Any tips? Any books etc that any of you would recommend? Not looking foward to the lunging part (god only knows how I passed my 3!)
Thanks

Best of luck, did my IV years ago and just had to refresh this year as havent been on instructors list for a few years.

There is a book by Maxine Cave I think that is very worth reading could be Maxine or Maureen on second thoughts.

The best bit of advice is just relax and pretend you are at home and do as you would do at home as often your first instinct is right, if you dont know, dont understand or not sure it is far better to ask them to repeat their question. Keep smiling it shows confidence and good grace if things go wrong.

I was terrible on breeding, which has always been my weakest subject.

If there is still time they do a course at Boxted Hall in Suffolk that is well worth it, and you do a mock exam at the end.

Could be actually, I have always done both care and riding together, so I don't remember! Thank god if it is! Thanks scally- will ook out for that book, I am awful at breeding too, never done it.
