Stallion called Apache

I was told he's Hackney x cob and was given a phone number for a Mr Bob Brickell as the owner but have heard that he's died and obviously don't want to pester his family. Does anyone know anything about Apache? I'm curious as I have a horse by him out of a Welsh D mare called Louada Lottie (by Trefnant Brenin Ap Harri out of Brickell Dashing Lady) and while I can find details on the Welsh side I have nothing on Apache.

I only have a mobile which may be out of service now. It just feels very rude an intrusive to bother them over it - it's not like I'm selling him or anything, it's just pure nosiness about his bloodline. This is my lad - if I can manage to attach a pic!

Providing his death is not recent I wouldn’t view it as being intrusive. Your curious about your horses sire, that’s not nosiness.

What part of the country was the stallion based?

I think Oxfordshire.

I may try the number I have then and see if I get a reply, I guess there could be other family members who were also involved with his horses.
