I just wanted to ask advice about my boy really. He was cut late (at just turned three), and I was there as both very large "bits" were removed
, so I know he's not a rig...
But the last few weeks, he's been quite a handful, bargeing, trying to get out into the field (of his choice), just trying to go the opposite way I need him to go. There is absolutely no malice in it. He is in a field with other geldings (all huge), and my boy is the top of the herd. There is a mare in the next door field, but he seems to keep his distance from her, and just prances around his herd, pooing on their poo and all that stuff. One 17.3 hh actually lies down when he (14.2) approaches as if he's bowing
When we are out riding, he calls all the time atm.
It it just the time of year ? Is it the grass (he goes into a less-grassy paddock with a mate several times a week) ? Is it that late cut geldings retain stallion features ?
All this doesn't worry me too much, I'm just really interested. But I do know I could not handle a stallion full time

McFlurry Oleo with toffee sauce available. They are DELISH !!!! sm x
