Hi all stallion or colt owners,
I have recently purchased a full arab 15 month old colt and i have one problem............ he nips.
I dont know what i can do i ignore him and he tugs at my clothes if i ignore him more he tries to nip my arms, i have tried shouting at him waving my arms around at him and i have to say i have smacked him (i dont want to smack as i dont want to put him off me), but he thinks its a game and rears at me and i dont want that either. I dont want to have him cut but if the nipping carries on and it starts to get nasty (at the moment he is playing) i will have him cut. He is in a paddock next to my other horses and i work with him every day as i would like to show him but i cant until nipping stops, i dont want to be walking around the ring trying to stop him bitting. Any advice greatly appreciated
