well i like eventing and aim to produce a good all round type that will event,i know my mares aren't as "wow" as some on here but they are well cared for and loved and i want to put them to the best without going over the top.

1)dexters puzzle for both mares
2)northern inspiration for both mares
3)future illusion for tippy (waiting to see if i have permission to use still),for ruby???

any ideas welcome,i have no transport so not too far from east anglia appreciated.
crap vets too so no AI,
GOD NORFOLK SOUNDS S**T !!!!

Why don't you do the AI course, then you could do them yourself! Especially as you have two!
The cost of the course would be ballanced by not having to send your mares to stud, then the world opens up to you!

You also have the joy of having your foals around all the time.

Another vote for Future Illusion here, excellent bloodlines, if you have the chance of one I'd go for it, he isn't at public stud as such I don't think, so you would have the added advantage of it being sought after if you decided to sell the foal.

Tippy is looking absolutely stunning!A very good looking mare indeedy! She looks so much better and a lot happier.. Am sure that we dont have all that many Robertstown Boy mares in the UK so it is worth sending her to a good event sire. Is that the picture that you sent to Future Illusions owners?

I would definately try and stay with Future Illusion for Tippy...

yep thats the picture i had nobody to hold her so had to tie her up and throw things about.
i'm sure she is looking happier as she is in love with tally the coloured cob and she seems to thrive on a routine and i'm pretty good at keeping to one,she doesn't want for much.
i also wonder if being in foal is chilling her out LOL

its just part of me still loves coloureds,i suppose ruby could still go to dexters puzzle or northern inspiration.
ruby is't as well known bloodline wise as she is a hackney but her foals are always admired,so i'd like a nice stallion.
she has bsja'd in her past.

No, don't think you should breed from Ruby any more... You should send her to live with me!!
She is very similar to my own Hackney, who's registered name is Grants Bugler, what is Ruby's registered name?

I showjump, hack, and do a hunter trial when I get chance. I have had him 11 years, since I was 14 and he is 20 now. I love your piccies of Ruby cos she is a more old fashioned type of hackney like George. He is black with a white star and 2 white socks. I have some lovely cross country pics of him from last sunday, will post them when I can get to my mums to scan them.

wow that is amazing, she was a nervous wreak when i got her off a friend last year and she still is funny about her feet.
her back was out from nose to tip of her tail which didn't help.

one of seabiscuit's horses "irish limerick" is tippy's full brother
and his photographs are on my photobucket.

Hi

We have a foal by Tepmle Der Konig, born July 2005, also by a Hackney Mare.

I am new to this site so will work out how to post picture later.
