Hi all!
So, about a month ago, I had my stallion gelded, the stallion was a crypt orchid (retained testicle)
As a stallion, he was dead quiet, anyone could ride him, he was extremely laid back and willing. We decided to get him gelded so we could take him to public places and do many other things with him.
After being gelded and bringing him home, hes completely changed, he acts more stallionish and is alot more pushy towards me. Hes been acting more like a stallion after being gelded then what he was as a stallion. He was also gelded at age 4 so we were a bit late on gelding him as in my town we have no horsey veterinarian centres that can geld him so you have to travel. Any ideas how I could fix this problem? Thanks
