You may like to have a look at a real Yorkshire Horse, enen though he has a Welsh name.

Super little Cleveland bay stallion I think would give you a very useful and versatile foal out of a thoroughbred mare.

I have seen him at shows and he is superbly well behaved in mixed company.

I am a bit biased as I will be sending mine to him this year.

I second that CBxTB is a great and versatile sport horse. I have a friend here in France a BHS instructor and dressage rider who would LOVE another she has had two and says there is nothing to compare.

Temperament of stallions generally very calm - they had to be breed originally a great carriage horse. You need a horse with load of common sense to work in harness in a busy city.

How about a lovely British Appaloosa????

The stallion I used for the foal in my sig stands at Ugthorpe near Whitby and I used him on my 15hh 3/4 TB mare. Stud fee is about £300 ish...

Other than that, Wainstones stud (I think) have a chunky palomino stallion standing, definitely a more substantial type, looks stunning. Where abouts are you? This second one is Stokesley way and the ad is in Farmway and I think Armstrongs in Stokesley.
