I'm in co.down northern ireland. Don't want to travel far. Just fancy a change this year and I'm breeding my young mare for her 1st foal she is 5 yr old 15.3hhs coloured sport mare. Don't want to go over 16.2hh really as its her 1st foal. But looking for a RID stallion or a Irish Sport Horse. Like strong clean bone. Not bothered colour as she is homozygous so foa.l will be coloured. She has great temperament and lovely mare. Any ideas Thanks

Ah, you are exactly like me this time last year then! I decided on Hillviewfarm Superstar. Beautiful Class 1 draught in Roscommon, but they will do AI also. He was such a stunning chap when I visited, even got to get up on him and his temperament is second to none. All his foals I saw were lovely types, but naturally, I like mine the best!

She is so good tempered, loves people and never puts a foot wrong.

If you're not up for AI, Drumhowan stud have 2 RIDs this year, Scrapman is particularly nice!

Thank you I just heard of scrapman going to look him up now. Love your foal. Just stunning, will look his sire too.

Thanks very much, she is just what I wanted. She's even going to be blue and white, which is also what I ordered! Here are some pictures of her sire to convince you :P

If you want any more information on him just let me know, I have seen loads of the RID stallions here in the flesh so let me know if I can help.

Hi he is stunning. How much is his stud. Also what has he done.
I looked up scrapman but doesn't say anything he has done apart from winning 1and 2 yr old classes. Can see anything on his career to date.

Thanks again

Hi all hope this is okay. I live in northern Ireland and I'm looking for a stallion to breed my mare to she's 16.2 ex racehorse I'm looking a stallion that can jump. Preferably in Ireland North or South and my budget for a stud fee is in and around £1000 thanks :)

@twilight01

Kacey88 has uploaded these photos of Hill View Farm Superstar on to this forum albeit a number of years ago.

Do they still have him? Who do I contact or where can i view his history?

Hello, don't know if you had noticed but this thread is over six years old. If I were you I'd start a new thread. Are Ballintaggart stud still breeding in Armagh they used to have reputation for producing good stock.

Good luck with your search. There's a lot of knowledge on this forum. I think in Ireland or Northern Ireland you might be spoilt for choice!
