Stallone's foals are wonderful. One of my mares is in foal to him for next year and up close and personal he is much more impressive even than in his photos. I would have used him on my other mare too but she was already in foal to another Quainton stallion when I bought her.
Have you seen his grading videos on You Tube? He has a great character.

Yep I saw his video's. I immediately fell in love with the boy! Gorgeous! His fertility is one of the best!

@ eventrider123: I saw the two foals (out of Cassini II mares) on the Quainton website (I even stored them on my computer). Can you find a pic of the third foal? Looks like I made the right choice...

All the Stallone foals have been sold, they were fantastic types and very good quality. His foals in Germany have also been impressing the breeders there.

Quainton Stallones foal was second only to Quainton Lancelot's at the German Foal Championships. Should anyone be interested there is a 100% Holstein mare Estabanx Cathargo in foal to him due 2009 priced to sell at £5,000.

Quainton Stallone, Lancelot and Quirifino will all still be available for stud work next year. Stallone and Lancelot are leased to the German State Stud and will stay there for the foreseeable future. chilled semen is available within 24 hours notice from Feb 09.

... and I hear that Chadron, who was GORGEOUS but large, has lost his b***s!! What a pity - he was a lovely chap, one of the best temperaments that I have come across in a stallion, and just growing into himself.... Starting to show some pretty impressive dressage work, as well, when we went to visit him ....

Quirifino, Chadron & Chateau all have frozen semen stored in the UK... I assume Quainton will keep it, so there's still the possibility of having a Chadron or Chateau baby...
