Hi there, just wondering if anyone has ever used this. I was originally looking to find a powder that would get rid of the terrible smell in my geldings stable. He has one very wet patch and I've been putting talcum powder on it for the last week which has been great but this is quite expensive and probably not ideal. Anyway, I've been researching this product on the net and it looks like it can also be used to treat thrush - which is another problem that I'm having. So does anyone have any feedback on it? Thanks in advance. x

Yes, I use it in our Shires' pole barn. The floor is very compacted soil (it's been there for over 70 years). I bed half the barn with Ecobed cardboard bedding and leave the other half uncovered. I sprinkle the Stalosan on the wet areas, after the soiled bedding is removed. A couple of times a month I apply the product, sparingly, everywhere. It really does smell so fresh and clean.

I also use it in my chicken runs. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hehe saw title of thread and thought it was going to be one of those ones asking about a particular stallion and had anyone got any of his progeny?!!! Doh!!

As you can tell I have never heard of stalosan F :) but it sounds good!

Stalosan F is good stuff-please use gloves and try not to inhale too much of it, love it for the chickens. Biodri is also good.not sure about treating thrush-you applying it direct to the sole?
