Stan came first!!!

We took Stan to a dog show yesterday, he had a great time! He came 4th out of about 20 dogs in Most Handsome Dog, came 7th in Best Sausage Catcher....and then he won the 'Fastest Recall Down Temptation Alley'! :)

He had to run to me through loads of toys, treats and bowls of food, and kids squeaking squeaky toys - he came straight to me, at his usual stan hyper-speed.

He even beat some greyhounds!!! :) :) He's only a terrier - the shortest set of legs that took part in the competition.

We've just started agility training, can't wait to get going with it all :)

Molly spaniel has won a prize for temptation alley once....she got a special rosette as no-one could believe quite how quickly she ate all the "temptation" :rolleyes: :o
 
Thanks folks, Stan won a dog toy squeaky space hopper thing - it's so loud it makes all the dogs on my street bark if he plays with it...inside the house!!

Temptation Alley was fab! I thought he'd manage it OK until I saw the kids with squeaky toys - two of his favourite things in the world but he still came to me :) ...although he did run off after coming to me, straight to OH who was eating a sausage sandwich!

The little fella would probably go POP if I tried temptation ally with him :rolleyes: :p :D
Good luck with the agility. I'd love to do that with Charlie. I think he'd be great but I can't get to any training classes :( So we have to make do with jumping fallen down trees in the forest :D
