My mare has a habit of standing leant over her front legs
It's been mentioned a couple of times that standing like this can be a sign of heel pain. Obviously this has me a little concerned, I've had her since she was 3, practically every photo I've got of her she is standing like this. She's had one set of fronts and one full set of shoes on in her life to my knowledge. She is 100% sound to trot up and nothing was every mentioned when she was being investigated for lameness last year (she put a hole in her tendon). She's never foundered.
Is this just a posture thing or should I be being concerned? and if it is likely to be due to heel pain what sort of things can cause it?
