Standard Schnauzer?

How much would you expect to pay for a standard schnozzie pup? Kc reg, microchipped and first vaccinations. I bought my mini 10 years ago so out of touch with prices and you rarely see standards here!
 
We bought our first standard schnauzer 15 years ago and paid £275, which I later found out was cheap at the time. She was the sweetest dog you could wish for, and we had 14 wonderful years with her before she died a year ago. I am now looking for a replacement but it is very hard to find a puppy. Have been looking (in the south west only) for nearly 9 months and so far without luck. I am in contact with a breeder, who is hoping to mate one of her bitches next month, so fingers crossed! She will charge me £500 for a bitch puppy but a friend of hers up north is charging £700!
 
I have a mini schnauzer, we paid £475 for her - she is the best dog ever, very clever and so sweet.

Gina where would the pup be coming from. PM me or tell me to mind my own business, I know some stock from one of the breeders here and I would say they would have issues with environmental soundness - IE hitting the deck at the sound of a flag flapping in the wind etc :o

ETA - sorry, I am an idiot, the people I am talking about breed Giant Schnauzers, not standards.
ETA and I quoted myself rather than edited, I shouldn't have got out of bed this morning!!!!
