Due to planning to breed my standardbred mare eventually, to get a horse for myself, I am curious. What partbreds have you met? How were they?

I want a horse of the same kind as my mare, not too wide and no need for a milder temperament. A better canter would be nice, but her isn't bad. While I don't currently do much jumping, it'd be a waste to use a stallion who doesn't jump well as she jumps surprisingly well. If I get a copy of her, I definitely would not be disappointed. But I am interested in hearing about all kinds you've met : )

There's a fabulous standie x cob at the trekking centre where I ride. Size wise, he's middleweight and around 15.2hh. He's one of those rare unicorns that really is anybody's ride. Put a beginner on him, and he'll look after them, but he can really fly with an experienced rider on board. He has very comfortable paces too. He's also the leader of the 50-strong herd there. No idea about his jumping ability, though.
