Standing Martingales??!!!!

Back in the day when I had brave pants I did a little SJ and I was always under the impression that you couldn't wear a standing martingale to jump in.
I was recently at a BSA show where one competitor had a standing martingale on their horse.

Am I wrong or have the rules changed?

You may use them at BSJA but not BE.

you can use them but not eventing, BSJA is fine and unaffiliated.

No, always been allowed to wear them. You aren't allowed to jump in them under FEI rules though. So my mare used to do national stuff in a standing and the Sunshine Tour in a running.
