Just loving the new pup, he's such a good boy! Moved him onto a (semi) raw diet which he is woolfing down and early days I know but good recall and will sit to command. I know there will be more challenging times ahead, but I can't believe how well he's doing. He is a real credit to his breeder!

He has got a lovely head, it is proper 'otter' shape. Is he show bred?
I always think the better you can get the behaviour before they got enough to be testing the easier it will be to get it back. :-)

No not show bred, mum is unregistered but a very nice type and the dad is KC reg but very much a working line (he was just gorgeous). My other (no longer with us) BTs, one was working and had very selective hearing, recall could be interesting the other was show bred but not show quality, we called him the borderline terrier, he was a complete lap dog and never strayed very far away. If I hadn't seen the mum and dad I would have been convinced he was part lab as he was huge. I am determined to have more reliable recall with this one, hence the early focus on training, which ATM he seems to be lapping up. hear's hoping!
