Stanwick Lakes

Anyone ridden along the horse tracks/dissused rialway line at Stanwick Lakes? I know you have to have a permit, but would love to go there, is there parking for horseboxes? thanks

I've never seen a horse there, but walked round it lots and seen a couple of bridleways. You would be able to park a horse box but not a huge one.

I rang them yesterday, and no you are not allowed to park horsebox or tailer in their huge car park!! Really pees me off as they sell permits for £15 a year for horseriders yet they don;t let you park!


Anyway, I've found a couple of parking places nearby so will just park there and use the bridleways around as they look lovely
