Thanks to those who advised on the best method of retraining my former hurdle/Ptp mare.
She has settled in very well and is enjoying her whole days in the field so much that she is not keen on going back in the box at night!
She has been slow to warm to the hay after being on sweet hayledge.
She ate very little hay the first few days but is gradually taking in more hay and she is grazing on the grass a lot more today. In terms of hard feed she is on three feeds a day down from her racing four with around 2.5kg of pony nuts and pasture mix being fed per day.
I will try and get some pictures on tomorrow as she is an absolute picture to look at and has a very sweet temperament.
