State of your school?

Just wondering how everyone's school is looking at the moment with all this rain?

The school at the yard I am at is hardly usable at the moment as it's so wet and deep. YOs have tried to do something about it but it hasn't made much difference and it doesn't look like I'll be riding now until the weekend when I can hack

It's not the wet that's the problem, it's the fact that it is so deep I worry about Murph's little leggies

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Just moved to new yard because of this - previous school built on a slope

and always filled with water.

I am pleased to report that ours is fine! (v smug Arwen)

Sorry to say ours is absolutely perfect it has never had a single puddle on it!!

Another very smug person as ours is perfect too in fact it rides better when its wet, the turnout fields however are under water.

Our's is imaculate i love it! There is noo wetness or lakes or anything! The rain has not effected it at all! Its fab!

At least you have all got schools! I either have to box to a school or hack for 20 mins to get to one

we are very lucky! if you were nuts enough you could easily have ridden in it today!!

Lucky me - our yard has a perfect surface in the school

- fields are lakes though and the mud - least said about that the better!!!

mine's perfect, fields around are full of standing water. but it is built up about 2-3 feet with drainage stones, so tbh if it's underwater, so is the house!

ours is a bit soft on the left side but it has been designed to drain so not puddles what so ever!

Beautiful as always. We did raise it with loads of hardcore when it went in so it never floods and is always brill. It has Trackright and Equistride rubber on it.

Stilton - I have the same problem I usually try to do some schooling in our field - but that is under 3-9 inches of water - so I guess I could practice my waters jumps! Very very slippy - so I think that I will be hacking this week. There is a school about 10 min hack away that I can use once a week - but that will be very wet one end.

Our's can survive the worst downpours and is still rideable as its at the top of a hill and has run off drains.

our fields are lakes and the horses can't be turned out (strangely George seems rather chilled by this - must be the hay on tap!), but the school is perfect, not a puddle in sight - sorry!
