Statesman is out for the season. Hope he will be okay even if not racing again. He always seems to have be a little bit underrated or out of the limelight despite being a 12 time Grade 1 winner. I think that’s just because he gets on with the job in hand so well. Best wishes to him.

Just seen this, what a shame. They don't always come back from tendon injuries but let's hope he can.

He's won 12 grade 1s for them. I hope that he is able to retire as a recovered and sound horse after his injury.

He doesn't have anything left to prove. I'd hate to see him (or CH) have falls like those in last year's Champion Hurdle again.

Ha just such a reliable horse, in any other stable he’d be feted but we are all so complacent about WM having superstars. I hope he can come good, he’s some horse.
