ive decided to stay at my yard, im not alone anymore, nw people have moved in behind me with 4 horses , havent seen the owner yet, but the horses look nice [ though a bit ribby], so i wont be the lone rider any more , hopefully they will be friendly enough to hack out with... we will see , also im going to view new horse at ten ... more the merrier i say ,,, yeh fill up the yard , im even going to produce my own hay 4 net winter , my yo says my top paddock makes 100 bales easily ... how proffesional is that ,, hehehe,

When you consider how much time and effort to make it, it's easier to buy it straight from the field at £1 a bale.

Also can you manage without the grazing all summer??

that is true, i think id rather have the grazing . it was the field owner who suggested it, course ive only been in this field since xmas, to be honest my grass hasnt really came through yet only in small tuffs, thanks 4 that i will through that idea out the window.
