steel toe cap jodhpur boots

Does any one have them?
I've found the Mountain horse ones which are expensive, have also found the Muckboots ones which have a 'protective toe' but is that enough?
Anyone any recommendations?

I think equitector do one. I have their long boot which has a steel toe cap.

I would go for the protective to rather than steelies. If steelies come under lots of pressure, they collapse and chop your toes off.

I would rather have broken toes!

I have the mountain horse ones. I get through a pair every 12 - 18 months. They are pretty comfortable and have saved me a few bruises.

I also have the mountain horse ones. I think they are fab! They have certainly saved my toes on more than one occasion. They are very comfy and I don't get cold toes in them when riding - I'm on my second pair in about 8 years so they are very hard wearing!

I agree with YorkshireLass - my Mountain Horse steel toe cap jod boots got trodden on and collapsed onto my toes. It took ages to get the boot off and it really hurt! Good job it was only a pony and not a horse!

i bought some from robinsons last week reduced from 38 to just 18! theyre great

I have the riding muck boots and had a big 17hh with shoes stood on my foot. Barely felt anything tbh, just as if a child were standing on my foot.
