After a week in England, I'm now back in NYC and awaiting delivery of the smooshie twosome. I've missed them so much. Quite self-indulgent, but here are a few snaps from the weekend prior to my departure, when we headed to northern CT to a fabulous dog-friendly resort.

We pulled eight ticks off Prince after this walk!

I wanted to stay in this one, but it was deemed unsuitable for dogs. Wonder why :D

Main building. The resort was set on 150 acres and stood adjacent to a 4000-acre nature reserve. Plenty of walkies were had.

Walking is all fine and well, but Stella has her fetch needs. And when tennis balls won't do, a football suffices!

And lastly, a couple from their boarding place:

And how most of the pictures look from dog camp :D

That holiday place looks awesome!!:D They both look like they made themselves at home there - and the Treehouse looked cool!:D:D:D

Hope they enjoyed themsleves at doggy camp - it looks like they will need a rest!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::D:D:D

They are absolutely exhausted. Both next to me and snoring on the sofa while I work :)

I hereby declare tomorrow a day of complete rest and pee breaks.

Great pics, what a lovely hol they've had!

They don't do so badly, eh? ;) Next weekend we start beaching it, which is much better than wading through tick-infested woods, pretty as they are. Prince went chest-deep in a pond when we were in CT, so I'm hoping he'll be brave enough to take a dip in the ocean. Unlike a certain someone.
