Memorial Day Weekend, and summer is finally upon us

Ms. Stella took a trip to Montauk, and sampled the delights of a new--and rather swank--dog-friendly hotel.

How many fish carcasses can Stella locate in one weekend...

It wouldn't be Montauk beach without the amazing jogging Viszlas (and their somewhat lazy owner)...

Back at the hotel, Miss Stella chills by the pool...

Fantastic photos ! What a lucky girl Stella is. Does she get some brown tints in her coat in the summer? I've noticed this with Tilly. We're hoping to take Tilly to our local dog beach next month.

Stella's actually registered as a seal and white Boston Terrier, meaning that she has a full set of highlights in direct sun

Will it be Tilly's first time at the beach? Is she a water babe?

Tilly hasn't been to the beach before. We took her in the pool last year as a pup. to show her what it was ! She loves splashing through puddles, and drinks out of the pool but hasn't jumped in on her own yet ! I think she'll enjoy the freedom at the beach. Will post photos of our day out next month.

She is in fine fettle form, thanks. I was so proud of her good behaviour at the hotel. In total, I counted eight dogs and she was wonderful with all of them. The staff? She was on her back most of the time, the tartlet. And as for the kids staying there, it warmed the cockles of my heart to see her patience with the toddlers. A veritable ambassador for the BT community

What fabulous pics - how do you get her to sit still?? Poppy is always moving, I have never got a good still head shot of her.
