So, Stella recovered from her rabies vaccine ordeal, and was well enough to board in Old Chatham, NY. She had a fantastic time and soon became best buds with Molly the Boston Terrier

Lovely pics!
Looks v cold, but I guess they were all running so hard they kept themselves warm. Glad she has recovered from her vaccine allergy.

Aww im so pleased little stella is fully recovered from her illness and enjoyed her winter break. Shes such an amiable little girl isn't she?? Lucy is on the mend as well now so it looks like Stellas trans atlantic vibes worked a treat!!

So glad to hear Miss Lucy is recovered as well. Stella does need to put half a pound back on, but other than that, the crisp country air seems to have done her the world of good

Thank you!

I checked the temperature while we were away and it was seriously cold up there. Luckily for Stella, the snow melted after a couple of days.

This was the first time with this trainer (she usually boards with the woman's colleague). She said Stella was really easy, fitted in right away and was "a riot" to watch while playing

It was -10c when we went for our walk this morning (though it's now a balmy -5).

We picked her up on NYE and she is now back in her usual routine.

I can't believe how skinny she is after her time at the vet's (15lbs, when she should be 17.5lbs)--so skinny, in fact, that I gave her some rice pasta and sheep cheese last night. Gobbled the lot, obviously
