While I flew over for Badminton, Stella decamped to upstate NY. She was, apparently, glued to the rather bodacious hip of Apple (the black pug) all week...

This needs investigating...

Does look quite tasty, does that...

She is completely worn out from all the shenanigans, and walked round Central Park today like a doddery old bird. In the end, she mostly sunbathed on a bench, ate a hot dog, and stared at me while I marked up some work documents.

They are fantastic photos!

Love the one of Stella asking for the ball to be thrown and, you're right typical terrier getting stuck in!!!!!

Hope the UK treated you well on your visit?

Glad you had a lovely holiday "home", and Stella looks to have enjoyed her minibreak as well.

How is her water abhorrence coming on. With our recent hot weather P has been enjoying a bit of a cool down!!!

She is so adorable. Stella definitely needs to sign her up for a course of lessons.

Alas, Stella is as much of a water phobe as she's ever been. Good sign, however: I took her to the dog park this morning, and it was already 70 degrees at 8am. Anyway, she was racing around so much, that she started to pant, bypassed the water bowls, and headed straight for the paddling pools. There was no water in them (you're not allowed to have them filled before work hours, for obvious reasons) but I thought that was an encouraging sign.

I'm going to take her back later, to see if she fancies a dip. One paddling pool is pretty large, has a slide, and is deep enough for small dogs to swim in. And then the summer season officially starts here May 25th, so it'll be the beach most weekends until September.
