Stem Cell Research??

im about to do an issue report in Biology (AS level) and i am planning to do it on equine stem cell treatment. Does anyone know where i could find the latest research into equine stem cell therapy??

Just a shot in the dark to see if anyone had any ideas!!

It's a fantastic resource for the latest scientific research papers and a quick search for 'equine stem cell' brings up some interesting stuff

The BBC also did a vets programme a couple of years ago where they showed the success of stem cells in repairing tendons. You could try their archives?

have you got access to research journal online? EVJ and EVE would be worth a look at + pub med if you can't access them.
its quite a hot subject atm!

Papers by Roger Smith, Peter Clegg, John Kisiday, Wayne McIlwraith are probably a good place to start. There has also been a report in H&H which may give you more of a lay persons view. Try also www.vetcell.com this is the UK company pioneering this research.
