I'm a 3rd year vet student doing a project about Owner perceptions of stereotypic behaviours (cribbing, weaving, box walking, etc), how they currently manage them and opinions of pheromone products.

The survey is online at www.nottingham.ac.uk/vet/horseownersurvey

It shouldnt take more than 10minutes of your time and may help shape how stable vices are managed in the future.

Thanks

Done - sounds really interesting!

My old girl used to hate being stabled and would weave and box walk, but when i moved yards, she was much happier, even when she was on box rest on her own for about 5 hours a day.

The stables were blocks, but very open which allowed her to see what was going on, she was much much calmer, and only weaved when she was due to go out into the field (even then she wasnt putting much effort in!)
