Hello :), I am currently studying at Myerscough College and I am in my final year of a BA (Hons) Equine Management degree. I would be greatful if any horse owners could take the time to please fill in this questionnaire for my final year dissertation based on how horse owners manage stereotypic behaviours (stable vices) I would be very greatful and will only take a few minutes to fill in thankyou for you time :) - http://dotsurvey.me/ab1musa4-03c8sab

I fell at the first hurdle. How many hours do you stable the horse? 0
What is the stereotypical behaviour? Weaving. That's why I no longer stable her.
What management techniques? Living out 24/7.

How many hours is your horse stabled for in the months of Winter and Summer?

I wondered should that be how many hours per day or in total? In that ours will go in the stable to be groomed if raining but not be put in it and left for long

And the work level should it be: Light work Ridden/schooled 2-3 times per WEEK rather than day?

have done the survey anyway

Done.

I thought there should have been an option for 'out of work due to other...' rather than just 'injury'. My horse is out of work as I feel he needs a holiday and time to just be a horse :)
