Steroid Injections in stifle

Hi, the physio has been out today (recommended by vet) for suspected pelvis issues (been ongoing and various diagnoses for whats wrong. Physio said the pelvis seems fine but his stifle is the issue. She has given me a list of exercises to do but recommended steroid injections just to get him through the next couple of weeks. Has anyone got any experience of these? Also idea of cost please? (cost irrelevant but I can at least break it to the other half hehe). I cant speak to my vet until tomorrow but have all these questions burning away so any help appreciated, thanks

i had both hock and stiffels injected for oddness on a circle really helped my mare and i certainly would say to someone go for it if the vet and physio recommended it, it was actually my instructor that said it would be a good idea and then had the vet out, for both it cost £500 the stiffels were more expensive!

Thank you thats great She doesnt think he's bad and should improve within a month but that it will help him along. £500 is a good price then for all that, I had no idea if we were talking £100 to £500 an injection
