Flex boot is nearly dead on one foot. Horse has found them comfy but his feet have changed shape considerably since we got them (in a good way). They are much rounder though will dish out at the toe/heel will collapse when it grows out but have generally kept it under control, especially on the LF.

So I am wondering...stick with flex or worth trying something else (and if something else, what? I am not a fan of scoots). He has gotten much better now he is off anything to do with molasses but still needs protection, especially on the LF where we know he has arthritis. So anything that softens the landing is good for us.

I'm biased because I am a massive fan of our Scoots, but that aside, the Easyboot Gloves and Epics have a somewhat similar design to Flex boots, if that's what you like?

What is it that makes you think twice about just replacing the Flex boots - do they not wear well, or will they not fit his feet so well now they've changed shape?

Thank you will have a look.

I quite like the flex - we have the reflective gaitors which I really like and his has lasted a few years which has amazed me tbh. Just wondering if there is something potentially better with maybe some more cushioning. They are slippery if it is wet but I think that is the same for any boot.

I use Equine Fusion Active Jogging Shoes with the side "pin". I love them. I've used Fusion for used but found the velcro only ones didn't last. The ones with the side "pin" are fab. And they have good grip.

I'd re-measure feet if you think you think they've changed shape & then send them to Urban Horse/Hoof Bootique for advice on what could work.

I use Cavallo's and Flex - the Cavallo's definitely have better grip IMO - but we've had to be guided by what fits his feet.
