Hi,
My mare has done this a few times now and it seems to coincide with when she had her back done. When her back was done, her pelvis was seriously out and the chiro said that she's essentially, been standing on three legs. Now she's sorted and she stands on all four now. It could just be coincidence, but since she's been 'fixed' she, very occasionally (three times in five months) seems very stiff after she's been resting a leg for a long time (I say this because she looks like she's been asleep- loose bottom lip etc. When she wakes up, she looks horrendous for about three strides, majorly lame, and them she's 100% again...does anyone else have this? I'm concerned but my sensible side says that when I sit still for too long I walk strangely for a few strides and then I'm fine and there's nothing wrong with me...any thoughts? :-(
