Rode my mare out last week, quiet hack.. half a mile in she didnt 'feel' right on the back end.... jumped off and lead her home, much to her delight.
Vet seen her as I wasnt happy, she was stiff in walk and I noticed an audible click coming from her hock.... Vet didnt seem too worried, felt it was a pull ( she slid down a steep hill the previous day, coming in for her food), anti inflammatory, out in the field to chill, and a to give her a week to see what happens.
Anyway, today she's showing no signs of pain or stiffness, but the click is definitely louder?!
Daisy the mare is an ID x cob who weighs over 800kg and is 4 1/2...
Should i be worrying? I'm not sure whether I'm just being neurotic!
