Stifle strain....

Any experiences?

My son's pony is currently on a weeks box rest/bute for a strain - the vet thinks its is more muscular than the actual joint, and thinks a weeks treatment will resolve the issue....

I am hoping that is the case!

My mare did this two weeks ago, 10 day rest and a sports massage has sorted her

Thanks - do you think it is worth having the physio out? I didn't ask the vet....

Made the difference to my mare, what did your vet say?

She didn't mention it, and only thought of asking as she drove off!

I have to give her a call with an update when he comes off box rest, so will ask then.
