I posted a while ago about my mare with a very itchy dock. We are still none the wiser what it is but she is now on steroid cream to try and stop the itching.
Here are a couple of pictures (hopefully) to see if anyone else has any ideas!!
The worst bit, currently right at the top of her tail
The middle of her tail, where a scab and bit of tail has come out
Her whole tail
Which altho doesn't look too bad, she is in an electric fenced field so can't really itch until you come in the field when she will swing her bum round at you for you to scratch
So any ideas?!
