Have been bringing Orkan back into work in the last 3 weeks with trot being introduced this week. Unfortunately he is still trying to canter behind in trot. Is fine on the lunge and sound in walk ridden if not a little stiff as he is 18 and has been out of hard work for 3 months after eventing last summer.

Dentist, physio, saddle fitter, vet have all come out... He is very tight in pelvic & sacroliliac area and has had 4 physio sessions under sedation. It just doesn't seem to have helped

Vet out again on Weds.... Has anyone had any experience of such a problem? Should I ask for Xrays or anything specific to see if there are any outlining causes....

In the meantime, I am hacking out in walk every day for short periods to try and build his back muscles. Well when he isn't spooking, bouncing, plunging and jogging that is
