Bit of a pointless post but physio (after car crash) has said i still cant ride till next week, so affiliated dressage at the weekend is a no no. Also not going back for a week now so have a whole week tll i can find out if i can ride.

She keeps saying another week. I am getting really fed up as it was meant to be my first attempt and doing some eventing just one a day ticket - wanted to use later in the year and do a few pc ones first but all the road work I have done is being undone. The yard are lungeing him and she said I can start lungeing him today and have bought him a pessoa

you poor thing big hugs to you. i was told years ago to stop riding by my doctor after having my shoulder pinned and plated, and two disc's slip in my back. i didn't listen and when i went to get my back sorted yeasterday the physio said to carry on riding as its in her words 'salvation' as the horse will tell you if your posture is bad.

chin up your made of tough stuff .xx

Hopefully it won't be long, I can totally sympathize with how you are feeling.
It's very early in the season and you might be back riding next week so I'm sure your plans will go ahead, even if they are delayed a little.

I'm ok thanks. I'm a bit of a burden at the moment though

. Not being able to bend is the worst thing I think as I can't really be left on my own for long, if I drop one of my crutches then I'm stuck!!

oooh feel really sorry for you, I screwed my neck and back crashing my car, and only just started riding at weekend after a month, it still proper hurts but working on principle hurts if I don't ride, hurts if I do!!

Don't follow my advice though as you sound in alot worse state than myself.......!!

My sympathies. I am 'grounded' as well (by my doctor) for at least another week--and the weather is just PERFECT for hacking too. Betya by the time I am allowed back into the saddle, we will be up to our hocks in snow or something.

Bad luck. I know how it feels. I havent been able to ride since the beginning of last november. My ankle refuses to get better which is really frustrating.
Hope you get better soon.
