As you are the authority on CB's a have a question for you.

Grumpy Boy is of unknown breeding but quite a few people have said he looks like he has a bit of CB in him.

What do you think? I'd love to have him analysed genetically to find out (yes I used to be a nerdy scientist).

with a hubby, teenager and bossy Jack Russell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what you can do in this country, but in the US the CB Society can do DNA testing. Do you have any of his parentage? Contact the Cleveland Bay Horse Society - they can help you.

Other thought I bet you have heard is Irish Draught? He is rather nice looking!!

No-one has idea of his parentage but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bit of donkey in there as he can be very stubborn.

There is a story about him coming over from Ireland as a four year with a batch of youngsters sold to a hunting yard so I guess he could be part ID.

I think he's a very handsome boy although when he puts on his famous grumpy face he looks like an old nag.

To me his face looks more pony than CB, and he's got little ears. My CBs all have humungous ears to go with their humungous heads........!
