Stirlingshire/Crieff type areas

Anyone looking to sell or know of anyone thinking about selling their home in these areas by any chance? We're pretty flexible location wise, just needs to be north of Stirling by max about 1 hour commute. Looking for a 4/5 bed house with couple acres of land but under £500k which seems to be hard! I know these areas are pricier than where Im coming from but there must be something out there Gearing up to put our own house on the market imminently but there's literally nothing on the market suitable at the moment or recently so I am getting worried!

Magic melon is there any way you d rent so that you would be instantly available to buy if a suitable place came up? 500k is on the low side for the area…as you know. Where are the kids going to school? Maybe the Fife/Clackmannanshire border area would work?
