I love my dressage saddle but find I can feel the stirrup leather buckle . Apart from that my saddle is fab for me and my horse.

I've heard of leathers without buckles,t-bar leathers?

Have any of you lovely people used them and what did you think?

Thanks in advance

I don't personally but I know a few that do who really like them. Have only ever heard positives about them. Much lighter, more comfortable on certain saddles, sound like they would suit your saddle?
Sorry I'm not much more help!

I have webber type leathers (T-Bar ones)....

Hate them!

But I think some of that is because I am constantly changing my length depending on what I am doing during a session (i.e. school then hack) and they just are not that easy to do. I like being able to just pull them up a hole, rather than take your foot out, pick up leather and alter :D

'Running-up' the leathers when storing the saddle isn't a simple slide up and loop!

However, haven't tried conventional leathers with my current tree as they are too long so it might be I try them and got back to the webbers :D

Think I am just anti-change *lol*

Somenone has lent me a pair they got with a WOW saddle. They have only used them once. They are brown but will give them a go and see what I think.

As for changing the length of my stirrups, its just for my dressage saddle so rarely change the length even though I hack out in it if I intend on schooling too.

Thanks for your replies
