stirrup leather lenght

I need to buy some new stirrup leathers but have no idea what size to get. I have measured my old ones but they are really stretched and far too long anyway, I had to punch some new holes in them.
I'm not that tall 5ft and a bit, I was thinking of getting 48" ones would that be ok or too short? There are a few lengths of stirrup leather so I am not sure of what the standard length would be!

I would have guessed that 48" leathers would be fine for you. You may need to punch a couple of extra holes in them for jumping though.
