Give them a good coat of neats foot oil & leave them overnight. Next morning give them another coat & leave them. While you leave them the oil will soak into them, eventually you will come back to them & the oil will be still lying on the top. Tjhat means they've taken as much as they can. Then wipe them off & you'll have very supple leathers.

I didn't think you were supposed to oil leathers as you don't want them to stretch?? I would use a cream, which will soften without stretching. Alternatively, if you haven't bought them yet, reconsider your choice of leather - go for something which is soft from new.

With leather good drop them into boiling hot (5-10 minutes) water bring them out wrap them into old newspaper and leave them to dry overnight in the airing cupboard. Use lts of saddle soap - result. Avoid excess use of Neatesfold oil it rots stitching
