stirrup query.

I like to use safety stirrups of the kid's type lol. the ones with elastic at the side.

I wanted to buy some but my local tack shop only sells them up to a 4 1/2 which is just big enough, though I'd rather have that extra 1/4 of an inch. Apparently they don't make them any bigger?

Anyone know if this is true??

Only problem is they tend to bend particularly if you jump in them

I use the ones with a bend in them, no replacing the rubber bands lol.

However i would stick to what your used to
