My Daughter now has two saddles, a jumping saddle and a dressage saddle. Currently we are switching her free jump stirrups between the two saddles but this show season is coming upon us an it's looking like logistically we may need to get a second set of stirrups. I'm torn between a second set of free jumps, a set of tech venice junior safety stirrups and the Junior green composite stirrups. The free jumps will stay on her jumping saddle and the new ones will go on her dressage saddle. We are governed by the German federations regulations regarding tack and to my knowledge she can compete in all three options. She's 6 at the moment, turning 7 in June. She's a good little rider, starting competing in 55-60cm jumping classes this year (of the lead) and will be doing low level dressage tests (WTC). I do not want to get peacock stirrups for her, I have a serious dislike for them.

Tech junior for definite, but I'd put them on the jumping saddle..... They are an amazing safety product. My 6yo has them, after getting hung up using peacock irons. Luckily the pony stopped immediately.

Just check with your local rules that coloured stirrups are permitted in dressage. And that her foot size and weight meet the requirements for the stirrup to release. My daughter didn't have an adult size 3 foot at 7 - she was still child 11 at that point! (Mind you she's only size 4 now aged 18...)

She currently competes in pink stirrups, I know the color isn’t an issue:) all the stirrups have child sizes so I’m not sure where the adult size 3 comes in? (She’s currently a size 1)

The tech Venice junior stated it is only tested to size 3 when I looked it up. Most safety stirrups have a weight and / or foot size limit.

It says they are recommended until size 3, insinuating that at size 3 they are too small and you should move to an adult size?
