OK, I have just got a pair of stirrups with a wedge shaped rubber in them.

So does the thick end go to the outside or inside - I'm thinking outside but can someone confirm or deny before I spend ages getting the things on the saddle

Thank you so much

I think the thick bit goes to the outside - that way to curve you inner ankle to the horse?!

Could be way off though!

hmm I've always thought outside, but thinking about it again, surely if it was on the outside it would but a lot of strain on your ankle? So maybe inside, to incourage your foot to hang properly and toes turn in?

HBII - my saddle arrived today - but the stirrups weren't attached to it. It's very nice, although haven't tried it on the horse yet
