Due to chronic back/hip/sciatic pain I'm looking to buy some new stirrups. I cant afford more than about £80.
I've been looking at the Acavallo Opera ones but is there such a thing as a stirrup with a tilting or pivoting tread..??? I've tried normal flexi stirrups but they aren't great ??

They really have been a god send for me and my back/hip problems. Without them I struggle to ride for more than half hour now and they have enabled me to carry on riding. It’s the shock absorbing capabilities along with my acavallo seat saver.

Stirrups designed for long distance riders have a wider base for your weight and help a great deal. I have Mountain Horse stirrups on the big horse I ride and they are really solid and supportive too. A furry seat saver and a nice wide back support all aid the problems associated with being an old(er?) rider! You can also buy treads that are wedge shaped and they help you to relax the outside of your leg.
