OMG! I can't believe you can ride in springy stirrups! I rode a horse for 6 weeks or so last year and I hated them. I just lost all ability to ride my feet were so wobbly; my leg position isn't the best, and the horse was about 3 ft too wide for me which didn't help - but I just could not keep my leg still, do you find this? Do you get used to it? Or is my seat just painfully insecure?

I love them!Took a bit of getting used to, but really help my knees/ankles when been riding for a long time! Love them when riding short for XC/SJ.

I love them!

I hate riding in fixed srirrups now they just feel so hard. The flexi ones have stopped my knee problems too.

I have Sprenger ones, haven't ridden in them yet though. My mum's riding seems better since she's been using them, not sure if its the stirrups or regular riding thats done it! They were expensive, but hopefully worth it.

I have the cheap ones..they squeak constantly but are similar to the Sprengers. or do you mean the ones that rotate like the MDC Stirrups so the the stirrup is 90 degrees to horse but leathers lie flat...in fact MDC are both...twisty and bendy.
