Stock or Tie for competitions?

I have a Pikeur fitted jacket which has a grey tweed pattern (although not tweed material)
I always wear my Pony Club Tie with it for whatever I do, SJ or dressage as I think it looks quite smart with the jacket.
I only do unaffiliated SJ and dressage, but this summer I am on area level SJ and dressage teams for my riding club (eek!) and possibly considering some higher level dressage.

Please could somebody tell me what I should be wearing with my jacket?
I want to look the part so should i be wearing a stock? or a different coloured tie?

Any advice would be really appreciated please?

I would not use the PC tie for RC comps so either a different tie or a stock whichever you prefer as either is fine, if the jacket is of a tweed style and colour the stock should be coloured not white.
